The Michigan Integrated Technology Competencies for Students (MITECS) is a comprehensive set of technology standards for K-12 classrooms which can be aligned to the G Suite for education platform. These tech skills are to be taught through ‘integration’ in all classrooms, not simply in an isolated technology course. The MITECS competencies run parallel with the 7 ISTE standards for students. Session participants will leave with an individualized plan of how to utilize Google tools for their grade level and content areas to meet MITECS.
