Leveraging 1:1 with OER Curricula

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

1-to-1 classrooms demand deeply-digital (not digitized) lessons that employ Open Educational Resources and interactive, collaborative learning activities (simulations, concept mapping, animating, etc.). Our free, Google Classroom-friendly Roadmap.center supports managing the full life-cycle of digital lessons. Partnering with Michigan’s Dept of Education, Michigan teachers have used Roadmap.center to create and use OER lessons and units that are posted on GoOpenMichigan.org. Session take-aways: attendees will be able to create and use differentiated lessons (expressed as graphical, node-arc “Roadmaps”) using OER. As one educator commented after using Roadmap.center: “Why are our learning systems not made this way in the first place?"
